  Absolutely solid biblical teaching & community. My honest top recommendation for a church in the Roseville area. True connection, shepherding over your soul, love that reaches beyond comfort, and conviction that grows you towards Jesus. My wife and I attended Veritas for 2 years from ages 20-22 before we moved, and loved it. The relationships we built were authentic and long lasting. Leadership followed up with us and the pastors of Veritas invested into our lives and marriage in what seemed surreal. We were so used to not being acknowledged for 2 years beforehand that being cared for was new and refreshing. It was a great season! You may encounter some strong theologians in the reformed circle here, but don't let it turn you off or offend you. The community groups are amazing & it was my first time spending so much time on other people's houses to discuss the word & spend time together. Being apart of Veritas was like being apart of a family, and I had never felt or experienced that before. Feeling apart of God's family is important when your a sinner, because you need grace so that you can grow. This is the place for it.

  Pastor Meyers's preaching is exceptionally expositional. He exemplifies proper homiletics to the glory of God (i.e. sermons flow from exegesis to biblical theology with practical application). The theological richness and reflection of Pastor Meyers's messages are, by the power of the Holy Spirit, convicting, challenging, correcting, and heart-changing. There is proper balance at Veritas, in the sense that, biblical theology births doxology and evidences good works.

  Veritas church has been our home now for just shy of three years. What my wife and I enjoy most about Veritas Church is Pastor Erik's careful and clear preaching of God's Word. While many Sunday sermons these days focus upon happiness, or moralism, the preaching at Veritas is focused upon the Bible, and upon better knowing God in all of His perfection, holiness, righteous requirements, and His gracious love and mercy.
  
  Honestly, while we LOVE our brothers and sisters who are members at Veritas, the effect of the preaching here is like refreshing water to a parched soul. If you are looking for a church where God will restore your weary soul from the solid exposition of God's word, take the time to pay a visit to Veritas church.
  
  We meet Sunday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m. We just moved to 699 Washington Blvd, by the way, and Google has yet to process the address change yet. We would love to have you drop by this Sunday for a visit.

  We attended Veritas for several months before planting a church in our neighborhood. We loved the preaching and worship at Veritas. The community groups were wonderful. There's lots of really great people who love Jesus and are fun to be with. Pastor Erik is committed to preaching the truth, even when it is not popular. You can't go wrong there.
